where Do you deliver to?

We currently deliver within the City of Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver. Delivery fees are waived with a minimum $100 purchase. For a pick-up option at your convenience, please visit one of our retail partners in-store or online!

when will i get my order?

Dumplings are handmade from scratch to order. Deliveries are coordinated by neighbourhood. You’ll be contacted typically within 7-10 days of placing your order to arrange a delivery date and time.

will you make gluten-free dumps?

Not in the foreseeable future. For us, it’s a textural thing - to get the right chew, silkiness, and versatility, the wrapper must be a traditional one, and that, friends, is made with regular wheat flour. (We do, however, sometimes accommodate for celiac diets in our private class settings.)

how about msg-free dumps?

While the addition of msg can be seemingly controversial, we made the conscious decision to include it in our dumplings as it is pretty much in our DNA! Monosodium glutamate is naturally occurring in foods (tomatoes! cheese!) It is widely found in snacks, ramen, stews, ranch dressing, bouillon, and so on. Many cuisines and cultures use it in both restaurant and home kitchens. However, because of outdated, racially-charged discrimination, it is associated most notably with Chinese food, with a lot of misappropriated negativity. While many studies have shown msg to be proven safe in customary amounts, the outdated myth has been hard to shake. The incomparable ability of msg to punch up the umami of savoury foods, to us, is worth it. So, our dumplings will likely always contain msg in one form or another.

Where can I find Dicky's Dumps on a restaurant menu?

Dicky's Dumps are currently on the menu at DD Mau (Fridays), Sing Sing, and at several Freehouse Collective venues across Vancouver, including Ballyhoo, Brassfish Tavern, The Lamplighter, Three Brits, and Clough Club. We also pop up for collaborations at other restaurants, always announced on our Instagram and newsletters!
